Biography

Recently Vicky’s career has expanded into a number of new and exciting areas. After presenting on ITV Calendar news for over 10 years ,now as well as continuing to present she combines this with running highly popular training courses . In partnership with Leeds based Bradley TV , www.bradley.tv , she hosts a variety of sessions for anyone who wants to work with the media , present on line..or get the skills to face an audience .

Vicky began as a broadcast journalist for Hallam FM in South Yorkshire and her quick wit and ability to interact with the listeners led to her being offered her own show and co-hosting the ratings winning breakfast show. She was head hunted to present in the bright lights of Leeds at Aire FM where she continued to flex her news and programming skills.

Her career development saw her move to the North East to present GMTV for Tyne Tees television, and once again she began presenting other programmes. These included getting her hands dirty in Granada Television’s “The Real DIY Show” for two series working along side actress Denise Welch and Simon Biaggi.

She also went on to present “Property Matters” where she had a fabulous opportunity to peek into the nooks and crannies of other people’s unusual homes both here and abroad. The series proved so successful it was later bought by the Property Channel.

Then followed the highly popular “Boot Sale Challenge” which she hosted for two series across the North East and upon returning to Leeds she continued to work for both Yorkshire Television and Tyne Tees. Everything from the interactive live lunchtime series”Call Dr Jane ” to the thought provoking “Baby shock“, a look at how having a child affects your relationship.

Other credits include presenting up to four hours of live studio based interactive television on the health and beauty channel “Wellbeing“

She shares her life with her son Will, her partner Richard and his two children Seth and Anna and a fish/whale called Haddock!
